Want an Impressive Return on Your Investment?

Putting on such a large, weeklong event requires lots of volunteers and some cold, hard cash.

And since we’re honoring a pioneering archaelogist, we knew we’d have to “dig up” a few well-heeled companies and individuals who want to help us make this event a reality.

Because we’re hosting so many events (a relic hunt, archaelogy dig, kid’s games, a movie in the park, the Banks House tour and many more exciting activities) we need a large number of sponsors.

We’re still ironing out the details, but we’re looking for sponsorships of all levels, from prize sponsors all the way up to our main event sponsor.

All sponsors will receive recognition at our events, with the top-tier sponsors getting huge advertising opportunities in our pre-movie presentation (projected on the screen for several hours prior to the movie), in newspaper advertising, on banners at the event and in all mailing and website materials.

What it Takes to Borrow Tablets

The University of Utah has graciously offered to loan us some of the cuneiform tablets that Dr. Banks brought back from the Babylonian region.

Of course, since they’re relics, lots of special arrangements have to be made to ship, store, display and protect them properly.

Members of the Historical Museum, Fire Department, Police Department, City Manager’s Office and City Attorney’s Office are working hard to ensure the necessary provisions are in place.

We’ll be constructing cases for the tablets, as well as installing a fire/security system in the museum.

In the end, the tablets will give all our visitors the unique opportunity to see a piece of ancient history that was uncovered by Dr. Banks’ own hands.
